Andrew
After graduating in 1991 from Ramapo College of New Jersey with a B.A. in Philosophy, Andrew Herrmann worked for 10 years in various creative industries including advertising, graphic design, and publishing. He completed his M.A. in Communication at Saint Louis University (with distinction) in 2004, while simultaneously working as the College of Arts & Sciences’ Information Technology Coordinator and informally as the Macintosh Guru on campus. At that time he completed his Teaching Skills Certificate. Dr. Herrmann completed his Ph.D. in Communication at the University of South Florida in 2008.

Dr. Herrmann teaches organizational, group, interpersonal, family and gender communication. He is a lifetime member of the National Communication Association and the Central States Communication Association. He has presented 26 papers at international, national, and regional conferences, and won numerous awards for his research. His many publications can be found in Journal of Business Communication, Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication, Communication Theory, among others.
He is still a Macintosh Guru.
